1999年硕士毕业于中国医学科学院协和医科大学肿瘤研究所分子病毒学实验室
2003年博士毕业于中科院上海生化所。
在PLoS Computational Biology、Bioinformatics、Molecular Systems Biology等专业期刊上发表论文30余篇，其中第一作者6篇，通讯作者19篇，总影响因子超过120，第一作者及通讯作者单篇最高他引次数超过60。获软件著作权6项，发明专利授权1项。目前主要负责公司PDX平台建设。
2006年上海市科技启明星。
2013年明治科学奖。
